Oundle and District Twinning Association exists to further
and develop friendship and cultural relationships between
ourselves and our European partners.
We are currently twinned with Nauort in Germany, a small
town, near Koblenz and with Andrésy in France,
not far from Paris. In addition, through our developing
close ties with our twins and their twinned towns, we
also have informal links with Haren in Germany, Condette
in France and Vlaggtwede in Holland.
In terms of membership we currently have approximately
30 member families with a total of around 90 members in
all, from within and around Oundle.
As well as activities for our members, we also act to
put local organizations in touch with their counterparts
in our twinned towns and this has led to a number of successful
interchanges of late, involving the rowing, art and bridge
clubs amongst others.
